Requirements:

  • fluent in English (nice to have: knowledge of Spanish, French, German, ...)
  • MsC Economics / Commercial engineer / Industrial Engineer: ICT (nice to have: business school)
  • 3-10y sales experience (ideally: Technology SaaS / food & beverage business)

Your responsibilities

Mission:

The Global Business Development Manager is accountable for the sales results (growth) of Bakeronline in the assigned countries. The Global Business Development Manager is responsible to:

  • define and implement the sales strategy together with the Bakeronline Management Team, national Bakeronline sales ambassadors and the local Puratos Management Team
  • manage and support the national Bakeronline sales ambassadors
  • manage and support the local Puratos sales teams
  • build and maintain third party collaborations
  • build market intelligence for future innovations in order to reach its objectives of growth

Key tasks:

  • Develop the sales strategy for Bakeronline in the assigned countries in collaboration with the Bakeronline Management Team, national Bakeronline sales ambassadors and the local Puratos Management Teams, and formalize with a forecast for the short term (Yt+1) and the longer term(Yt+5)
  • Business development management and support to countries:
    • Collaborate with local Bakeronline Sales Ambassadors and the Puratos subsidiaries to define, implement and follow up the results of the sales strategy
    • Support the commercial and marketing activities of the Puratos subsidiaries (e.g. by training and guiding local Puratos sales teams)
    • Actively support business development of large accounts
    • Propose, agree and roll-out corrective actions or acceleration plans with Bakeronline Management Team and local Puratos Management team
  • Build and maintain third party collaborations that could help to boost sales results
  • Build Market intelligence for future innovations on customer – competitor – consumer – company level.
  • Act as International Sales Manager / Facilitator and share your experiences in the different countries in order to boost the sales results in each country. Build & animate the international Bakeronline sales community, sharing success stories & elevate the level of Bakeronline knowledge internationally.
